"body": "
SHENZHEN, China, October 14 2026: Tennis icon and On Co-Entrepreneur Roger Federer took to a floating tennis court at a new Chinese edition of the global "On Thanks for Playing" series in Shenzhen. Designed to celebrate the sport’s grassroots communities, the activation bridges Federer’s enduring legacy with China’s rapidly rising status as a global tennis powerhouse, connecting the icon directly with the next generation of Chinese players.

Shenzhen - a city defined by ambition, innovation, and an explosive passion for tennis-served as the backdrop for a multi-stage experience. Blending an intimate community gathering at On’s brand-new Shenzhen flagship store with a grand spectacle at Shenzhen Talent Park, the event translated personal storytelling into tangible inspiration.

The event also celebrated the unveiling of a special edition of THE ROGER Wildcard, a shoe born out of On's ongoing collaboration with Federer and the young athletes of the Wild Elephant Tennis Club. The event marked an emotional reunion at the Shenzhen flagship between Federer and the young players, who first met in Shanghai two years ago. Following their initial meeting, On’s design and innovation teams incorporated the motifs of an original hand-painted drawing by one of the kids into the shoe’s graphic detailing and custom sockliner, pairing high-performance Swiss engineering with authentic grassroots storytelling.
<div\n    id='gallery-c0fe5225-f9fa-4771-8de1-d41f3f2496a8'\n    class='release-content-gallery release-content-gallery--layout-contained'\n    data-component='chromatic-gallery,image-zoom-popup'\n    data-chromatic-gallery-padding='S'\n    data-chromatic-gallery-thumbnail-size='S'\n    data-chromatic-gallery-captions='data:application/json,true'\n    data-chromatic-gallery-photos='data:application/json;base64,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'\n    data-chromatic-gallery-force-full-width='data:application/json,true'\n    data-chromatic-gallery-expand-icon='data:text/plain;base64,PHN2ZyBjbGFzcz0iaWNvbiBpY29uLWV4cGFuZCI+CiAgICAgICAgICAgICAgICA8dXNlIHhsaW5rOmhyZWY9IiNpY29uLWV4cGFuZCI+PC91c2U+CiAgICAgICAgICAgIDwvc3ZnPg=='\n    data-image-zoom-popup-selector='.chromatic-gallery__photo'\n    data-image-zoom-popup-i18n='data:application/json;base64,eyJEb3dubG9hZCI6IkRvd25sb2FkIn0='\n    data-image-zoom-popup-tracking-view-event='Story Image View'\n    data-image-zoom-popup-tracking-download-event='Story Image Download'\n    data-image-zoom-popup-placement='content'\n>

The highlight of the celebration was a one-of-a-kind floating tennis court installed on the waters of Shenzhen Talent Park.
