Yared Nuguse on Instagram: "1500 US CHAMP 🇺🇸 At this time last year, in my first race in an OAC uniform, I came in 11th at the US Champs after a challenging year that was defined by numerous injuries and setbacks. It was certainly not what I had in mind for my professional running debut. To come back to Eugene this year after the past year with OAC is nothing short of incredible, and I am beyond grateful to come away with my first US 1500 title. It has taken so much work to get here and I’ve finally had the consistency needed to achieve this goal. One that I knew was within my reach. Thank you to everyone that has supported me along the way, I will never take this for granted. But we’re not done yet. Time to get ready for the big one in Budapest 🇭🇺 (Also the hippo’s name is Histo 🦛) 📸: @justinbritton #runonclouds #onrunning #oac"
