On Trail Athlete Antoine Charvolin Secures Biggest Career Win To Date

Chamonix, France, August 26, 2025 - On Trail Athlete Antoine Charvolin has won the TDS race in a time of 18:22.17. He won with a six-minute lead, ahead of Gautier Airau and Leo Rogaume.
Setting off from Courmayeur, Italy, on Monday evening at 23:50, Charvolin navigated the challenging 153 km long course, which features 9,000m of elevation gain. The victory marks a significant breakthrough for the French athlete, as it was his first time competing at such an extreme distance, with his longest race previously being 120km long.
Trying to find his words after the race, Charvolin described the whole experience simply as "crazy".
A former footwear testing coordinator for On, Charvolin played a pivotal role in the development of the brand’s pinnacle trail running shoe, the CloudUltra Pro. His decision to focus on trail running full-time at the end of 2023 has clearly paid off, as evidenced by a string of fantastic performances in the build-up to TDS. These included winning the maXI-Race 60km and a fifth-place finish at the 120km Lavaredo Ultra Trail race in June.
