From Dreams to Reality: 65 On Athletes are heading to Paris

On athletes from 25 countries will feature across 15 disciplines during the Olympics in the French capital.

ZURICH, Switzerland - July 22, 2024 - For 65 On Athletes, the dream of competing at the Olympics is becoming a reality as they head to Paris to represent their countries at the world’s largest sporting event.

The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris will see the largest representation of On athletes in the Swiss sportswear brand’s young history. Ahead of this momentous occasion for On, Flavio Calligaris, Director of Athlete Strategy and Partnership, reflects on the journey to this point:

“When the 2021 Olympics concluded, a new era began. We dreamed of our athletes winning medals in Paris, and our mission became clear. We've since assembled an extraordinary roster of champions, securing grand slam titles, major marathon victories, Diamond League triumphs, a Kona title, and countless medals, personal bests, and national records.
But our journey goes beyond building a team; we've forged unique, supportive relationships with each athlete, providing everything they need to excel on the world's grandest stage. Now, our dream is becoming reality. We’re sending 65 athletes from 25 countries to compete in 18 disciplines in Paris, united in the pursuit of their dreams.
This journey is a testament to our relentless innovation, unwavering commitment to excellence, and the magic that happens when we dream together."

20 of the athletes train at On’s professional track teams, On Athletics Club, On Athletics Club Europe, and On Athletics Club Oceania. Five athletes are members of the Tuscany Camp supported by On, and the remaining 40 are individual athletes. With Martin Schulz, On will also have a presence at the Paralympics, taking the total On athletes in Paris this summer to 66.
