Historic Triumphs on the Tennis Court and Podium Sweeps
Henry Bernet won the Australian Open Boys Title, and On track athletes successfully continued their indoor seasons

ZURICH, Switzerland, January 27, 2025 - On athletes were on a roll this weekend, securing major wins and personal bests. Highlights include Henry Bernet's Australian Open junior title and On Athletics Club Europe's impressive showing at the Indoor Meet in Malaga.
Henry Bernet Wins Australian Open Boys' Title
Henry Bernet, recently announced as the newest member of the On Tennis team, gave himself the best 18th birthday present one could imagine: winning the Australian Open Boys Junior tournament.
The eighth seed, Bernet became the first Swiss player to win the Australian Open junior singles title, defeating American Benjamin Willwerth 6:3, 6:4. In the run-up to the final, Bernet overcame the number one seed Jan Kumstat, seventh seed Oskari Paldanius and a broken rib to claim the title. Bernet now belongs to an exclusive club of Swiss tennis players to have won a junior Grand Slam title, including Roger Federer, Stan Wawrinka, Belinda Bencic and Martina Hingis.
With his victory in Melbourne, Bernet climbs to 2nd in the world rankings, his highest ranking to date. Bernet's victory marks the second-ever junior grand slam title an On tennis player won, following Joao Fonseca's triumph at the US Open in 2023.
