“The body is art” is a concept born from their Creative Partnership celebrating the varied and beautiful styles of mixed movement and training.
ZURICH, Switzerland, September 3, 2024 — Following the announcement of FKA twigs joining On as a Creative Partner earlier this year, the Swiss sportswear brand now reveals its first training campaign in partnership with the multi-talented artist, singer, and dancer. The campaign introduces the fall/winter 24 training collection, under the theme The body is art - a concept inspired by a quote from twigs, exploring the beauty of our bodies in motion.
The Creative Partnership with FKA twigs marks a new direction for On’s training vertical, blending movement, art, and self-expression. Globally recognized for her avant-garde approach to music, dance, and visual arts, FKA twigs brings a distinctive perspective to On, challenging the traditional understanding of training, and has been deeply involved in shaping both the aesthetic and philosophical foundations of the fall/winter 24 campaign through The body is art.

The body is art fall/winter 24 campaign
With FKA twigs leading its creative direction, the fall/winter 24 training campaign is a bold exploration of self-expression and physicality. In addition to being the face of the campaign, FKA twigs has shaped each aspect of the campaign’s creative vision. Shot by renowned photographer Jordan Hemingway, the campaign’s striking visuals are set against strong horizon lines within nature, evoking a sense of calm and meditative well-being. This setting captures a seamless flow and energy of movement, embodying the connection between physical and artistic expression.
This collaboration with FKA twigs reflects On’s ambition to redefine training by encouraging individuality and holistic well-being, demonstrating how movement can inspire and elevate the human spirit.
The body is art – an upcoming live performance
As part of the campaign, On and FKA twigs will present THE BODY IS ART, a live performance event exploring the beautiful ways we train and move. Taking place in London on September 16, 2024, this unique event will celebrate the art of our bodies in motion through an immersive art experience that tells a story of strength, fragility, art, and empowerment. With set design co-created by FKA twigs and Arthur De Borman.

The fall/winter 24 training collection offers an assortment of womenswear and menswear, designed to support a broad range of training activities while maintaining a focus on comfort, style and performance. Key apparel pieces include the Active-T Graphic, an ultra-soft all-day essential; the versatile Movement Joggers, with a drawstring adjustable waist and slit mesh construction on the leg; and the Movement Bra, engineered for ultimate comfort with an elastic underband and sweat-wicking mesh liner. For footwear, the Cloudnova X is ideal for transitioning from the street to the gym with its CloudTec® midsole and X-shaped Speedboard®, while the Cloud X 4 offers versatility with a new Speedboard® design for better forefoot flexibility.
