On Expands Trail Team with French Sensation Simon Gosselin
Multitalented athlete and coach Simon Gosselin is the latest addition to the Swiss sportswear brand’s trail running roster.
Zurich, Switzerland, February 5, 2024 – On is thrilled to announce the latest addition to its Trail Team – Frenchman Simon Gosselin. Hailing from the picturesque landscapes of Areches-Beaufort, Simon Gosselin brings a wealth of talent and passion to the team. The addition of Simon Gosselin reaffirms On's commitment to supporting athletes who push the boundaries of what is possible in trail running.

Known for his speed, endurance, and love for challenging terrains, Gosselin has become a force to be reckoned with in the world of trail running. Hailing from a trail-rich region of France, Gosselin has conquered a variety of courses, showcasing his versatility and determination. He finished second in the Nice Cote d’Azur by UTMB 100k race in September 2023 and claimed the same position in the 42 race of Istria by UTMB earlier in the year. In addition, he was third in the Maxi-Race du Lac d’Annecy 88k in the same year.
His passion for the sport extends beyond competition, as he found a second calling as a coach.
“Having practiced sport since my childhood, it was quite natural that I wanted to work and evolve in this environment. Thanks to my background in endurance sports, I have much experience with the demands of high-level sports in road cycling and in trail running. After getting my master’s degree in Besançon, I started to focus on training and performance optimization as well”, Gosselin says. “Next to my own competitions, I was responsible for monitoring the training of many high-level athletes such as the Team Sidas Matryx, road runner Anaïs Sabrié or ski mountaineer and trail runner Rémi Bonnet.”
As part of the On Trail Team, Gosselin will not only represent the brand during competitions but will also play a role in providing valuable insights for the development of future trail running products.
