On Opens Flagship Store in the Heart of Zurich
On celebrates a home game: On September 26, 2025, the Swiss premium sportswear brand opens its first location in downtown Zurich with its new flagship store at Limmatquai 28. In this historic location, On underscores its deep connection to its homeland, creating a new meeting point for movement and Swiss innovation.
ZURICH, Switzerland, September 25, 2025 - The time has come: 15 years after its founding in the Swiss Alps, On is moving to the center of Zurich. The opening underscores the brand’s clear commitment to its home market, where its global success story began. While more than 1,100 employees bring Swiss engineering to the world from the On Labs in Zurich West, the brand can now also be experienced in the heart of the city. Every On product is designed and developed in Switzerland – with a focus on precision, performance, and minimalist design.

More than a store: A gathering place
At a time when the world is increasingly shifting to digital, On is consciously investing in physical encounters. The new flagship store is not just a retail space, but a place that brings the passion for movement and innovation to life. The entire On universe can be found stretching across over 500 square meters: shoes, premium apparel, and accessories for top athletes such as current world champion in the 100m hurdles, Ditaji Kambundji, and freestyle skier Andri Ragettli, as well as for everyone who loves to move.
A special design highlight is a 3D replica of a rock from the Engadin Alps – a reminder of where On was founded and, cast in brass, a tribute to Musik Hug, which has shaped this location on the Limmat for generations.
The new flagship store in the historic Münsterburg building on Limmatquai spans two floors and employs a total of 35 people. Further information for download can be found here:
The existing On store at the headquarters in Zurich West will be redesigned in the coming months, but will remain open to the public in the long term. On will communicate further details at a later date.
