On Opens Its First Standalone Store in South Korea with New Hannam Location

SEOUL, South Korea, March 9, 2026 — Swiss premium sportswear brand On today announced the opening of its first standalone retail store in South Korea, Hannam, on March 12. This opening follows the successful launch of the brand’s first direct-to-consumer locations in Yeouido and Jamsil last November. The Hannam store represents a significant milestone as the brand’s first dedicated, standalone brand space in the Korean market, strengthening its presence and expanding touchpoints with domestic customers. It reflects On’s continued momentum in the APAC region.
Inspired by the energy of Seoul’s nighttime running routes, the On Hannam store captures the city’s rhythm after dark. The space unfolds as a cinematic urban landscape, where backlit signage and streetlamps dissolve into soft reflections across polished surfaces, evoking the blurred perspective of a runner in motion. The facade’s mesh and lighting reference the layered glow of the Han River at night, revealing subtle moiré patterns on closer view and establishing a visual language of movement. Inside, the circulation mirrors the flow of a night run—fluid, dynamic, and charged with Seoul’s kinetic spirit.
The store spans three levels, with the first floor showcasing the brand’s signature running collection. As visitors move to the second and third floors, they can explore a broader range of categories, including lifestyle, tennis, outdoor, and kids’ lines.
Notably, the basement level houses a running hub designed as a community-focused space that fosters connection and engagement with Korea’s running culture. It hosts in-store programs and community-led events, including On Rub Club sessions and experiential initiatives that deepen customer engagement and promote a shared passion for movement and wellness.
To celebrate the public opening on March 12, the innovative LightSpray™ Cloudmonster 3 Hyper super trainer running shoes will be released in limited quantities, setting a new benchmark in ultralight performance, already generating buzz at the recent TRE event.
In addition, the latest model of On’s iconic running shoes, the Cloudmonster 3, is set to launch. The Cloudmonster 3 features an enhanced triple-layer CloudTec® cushioning system designed to deliver improved cushioning and energy return, offering an even more comfortable and dynamic running experience. On the same day, customers who purchase 120 CHF or more at the On store will receive a gift on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
Ahead of the public opening, the Hannam store will host an exclusive press day for invited guests on the morning of March 10. The opening celebrations will continue that evening with a special event featuring a 3-minute LightSpray™ Showdown treadmill running challenge, accompanied by DJ sets. During the event, the LightSpray™ Cloudmonster 3 Hyper will be available for on-site try-on, offering guests the opportunity to experience the breakthrough innovation firsthand and engage with On’s running culture.
