On Signs Sydney Barta, the First Paralympian to Compete for Stanford University, to NIL Partnership
American Sprinter Brings World-Class Talent and Academic Excellence to On's Roster

Zürich, Switzerland, October 17, 2025 – Swiss performance brand On is proud to announce a new NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) partnership with American para sprinter Sydney Barta (USA), a rising senior at Stanford University. This collaboration celebrates Barta's pioneering role as the first Paralympian to compete for Stanford's track and field team and her remarkable success both on and off the track.
Barta, a T64 classification athlete, has established herself as a formidable force in the sprinting world. Her accolades include a gold medal in the 200m at the 2023 Parapan American Games in Santiago, Chile, and a silver medal in the same event at the 2024 World Championships in Kobe, Japan. A Paralympian, she just missed out on a medal when she ranked fourth in the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games.
At the recent World Para Athletics Championships in New Delhi, Barta claimed the bronze medal in the 200m T64 with a time of 27.51. A few days prior, she had also qualified for the women's 100m T64 final, finishing in 8th place with a time of 13.83 seconds.
As a student-athlete, Barta exemplifies On's commitment to supporting individuals who redefine what is possible. She is a bioengineering major at Stanford and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Human Performance Lab. She was also recently elected to serve on the Collegiate Advisory Council of the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC).
"Sydney’s journey is truly inspiring," says Libby Davidson, Athlete Manager at On. "Her exceptional talent as a sprinter is matched by her incredible drive as a student and her commitment to advancing the para-sport movement. She embodies the spirit of our brand, and we are thrilled to partner with her as she continues to break barriers at the collegiate and international levels."
Barta shared her excitement about the partnership: “I chose to partner with On because of their innovative approach to performance and their holistic support for athletes. They truly see beyond the track and are committed to helping me achieve my goals as an athlete, a student, and a person. It's an honor to join a brand that empowers athletes to pursue their passions without limits.”
