Registration opens: how to participate in On Track Nights
The excitement is rising for On Track Nights, the new global series of running events. With the events coming closer, runners' registration windows are opening. Find out how to participate in each edition of On Track Nights below.
Zurich, Switzerland, March 1, 2023 - With the Northern hemisphere slowly transitioning from winter to spring, the excitement for the outdoor track season is rising. Set to begin in May 2023, On Track Nights, the new global series of running events, will span three continents and five cities. The goal: to give a platform to elite, U-20, semi-pro, and passionate middle-distance runners to beat their personal bests, gather valuable points for World Championship and Olympic qualifications, and, most importantly, set the standard for a new kind of athletics event that brings its stars closer to the fans.
So how can runners be a part of the electric atmosphere on the tracks all around the world?
Registration procedures are specific to each event. All the details can be found in the respective sections below. Local programming and the elite athlete line-up will be communicated on On Track Nights' official event page closer to the dates.
On Track Fest, Los Angeles - May 6
Runner registration for On Track Fest L.A. is already open and costs $45.00.
Participants must meet the following event standards:
800m: sub 1:48.0 (M) / 2:02.00 (W),
1500m: sub 3:41.0 (M) / 4:10.0(W),
Steeple: sub 8:50 (M) / sub 10:00 (W),
5000m: sub 13:50 (M) / 15:45 (W),
*10,000m: sub 28:30 (M) / 32:15 (W)

Night of the 10,000m P.B.'s, London - May 20
Race entry for the Night of the 10,000m P.B.s goes live on March 1 at midday.
The race entry criteria is date-staggered by 10k performance to help ensure the fastest racing opportunities. Qualifying times from January 1, 2022, onwards.
March 1 - Men sub 30:00 / Women sub 35:00
March 15 - Men sub 31:00 / Women sub 36:30
March 29 - Men sub 32:00 / Women sub 38:30

FAST5000, Paris - June 10
Registration opens on March 1st and costs 10€/runner (+1€ registration fee) for the 5000m.
To register, participants need an FFA licence number, their current P.B., and the time they are aiming for. Foreign athletes without an FFA licence will need to provide a medical certificate alongside their licence.
Places in the 5000m races are allocated according to the athletes' performance level, and please note that fast runners have priority.
- For men, there are 240 places: at least 150 are reserved for those who run < 15'00, 50 for those between 15'00 and 15'30, and 40 for those between 15'30 and 16'00.
- For women, there are 120 places: at least 60 are reserved for those running < 17'00, 30 for those between 17'00 and 18'00, and 30 for those between 18'00 and 19'00.
- The organizers will set up a waiting list once any category is full.
The 1500m (Men) and the Mile (Women) are by invitation only: if interested and of a high enough standard (<3'35 for 1500m, <4'30 for the Mile), please contact team@fast5000.fr.
The 3000m (Open) (7€) is open to all FFA Competition licensees (with a minimum reference time of 12'00 for Men and 14'30 for Women)

On Track Night, Vienna - June 17
Registration starts on February 17, 2023, and closes on June 9, 2023.
Every athlete has to apply to participate with their P.B. and S.B. not older than 2021.

Coaches must be registered in the field "Ersatzleistungen" by name. Athletes of associations other than Austrian Athletics apply via email to info@tracknightvienna.com
Late entries will be accepted only in accordance with the meeting director. The provisional starting list will be released on June 12, 2023, on https://tracknightvienna.com/ and www.oelv.at.
