Medals and new PBs were celebrated by On Athletes in Australia and on the streets of Paris and Rotterdam

ZURICH, Switzerland, April 14, 2025 - On’s Australian athletes delivered a weekend of thrilling performances at the Australian Athletic Championships, claiming a total of seven medals. In Paris and Rotterdam, On athletes celebrated new marathon PBs and silver medals.

Australian Athletic Championships

At the 2025 Australian Athletic Championships held in Perth, On athletes collected seven medals, new personal bests, and a World Athletic Championship qualification.

The 800m races proved to be a silver mine for the On athletes, with both Claudia Hollingsworth Thomas and Peyton Craig claiming second place. Hollingsworth returned to the Australian Athletic Championships as the reigning champion, hoping for a repeat of her success of last year. She fell just 0.39 seconds short of this, having to watch Abbey Caldwell take gold this year. Fellow On Athletic Club Oceania teammate Carley Thomas completed the two laps of the track in a time of 2:02.65 with a season’s best time and in fourth place. In the men’s competition, Peyton Craig finished runner-up to Peter Bol, setting a new personal best of 1:44.07 and achieving the standard for the World Athletic Championships in Tokyo later this year.
