On Strengthens Trail Team with the Return of Champions Katie Schide and Germain Grangier
ZURICH, Switzerland, April 13, 2025—Seven years after initially partnering with Swiss sportswear brand On, Katie Schide and Germain Grangier are returning to the On-Trail Team.
Schide and Grangier originally signed with On in 2018, when the team was at the start of its trail running endeavors. Fast-forward to 2025, and On has made significant steps in leaving its marks on the trail, having built a roster of 29 athletes from 8 countries, varying in disciplines and with numerous successes. On’s product development has also made immense strides over the past seven years, driven by its deep-rooted desire to innovate. On now offers three dedicated trail running shoes, an apparel line, and accessories, including a belt and running vest. 2025 will bring further development with the highly anticipated release of the brand’s pinnacle trail running shoe, featuring cutting-edge cushioning and traction technology advancements.
During their time away from the brand, Schide and Germain have also left their marks on the trail-running world. Schide, originally from Maine in the United States, won the illustrious Ultra-Trail-du-Mont-Blanc twice, once in 2022 and most recently in 2024, setting a new course record of 22 hours, 9 minutes, and 31 seconds. The same summer, Schide won the Western States Endurance Run (160km/100m) and The Canyons Endurance Runs (100k/62m).
Grangier, living in the Mercantour of southern France, also hasn’t been a stranger to success. His first big results in the sport date back to a podium at OCC in 2015, with his highlight season clearly arriving in 2023, where he won and set the course record at the 90km du Mont Blanc, finished third at the Ultra-Trail-du-Mont-Blanc, and second at the infamous Diagonale des Fous just six weeks later. Grangier started his 2025 season in a winning fashion, taking the 100K title at the UTMB Chianti Ultra Trail in Italy.
This exciting reunion marks a significant milestone in On's commitment to supporting the world's most talented athletes and pushing the boundaries of trail running innovation.
